Industries

We've built brands across more than two dozen industries.

From institutions to startups — brand-led work that earns the next conversation.

Where we work

The corners we know.

Crafted's practice spans regulated sectors and consumer ones, century-old institutions and Series A startups. We've shaped digital identity and presence for Syracuse University, University of South Carolina, Success Academies, and the New York Youth Symphony in education; for Bloomberg Philanthropies, the City of New Rochelle, and the Westchester County Office of Economic Development in the public sector; for ASICS, Nike, Under Armour, IZOD, Banana Republic, Cartier, and Harry Winston in fashion and luxury; for Don Julio, Partida Tequila, Dannon Light & Fit, and Sir Bananas in food and beverage; for Spot & Tango, Pretty Litter, and Halo by Cesar Millan in pet and animal; and for Aaptiv, MusicFolio, Solos, Influenster, Pyle, and Terrafugia in the startup column. The categories below are how we organize the work — the work itself is what makes the categories matter.

Our practice

What stays the same, regardless of industry.

The deliverables shift by sector — an enrollment funnel for a charter network looks nothing like a vehicle launch site for an automaker — but the practice underneath them is the same.

Why Crafted

Why the breadth matters.

Most agencies pick a lane. They become the “DTC pet brand” shop, or the “higher-ed” shop, or the “luxury” shop, and the work starts to look the same regardless of who the client is. Crafted's range is the opposite bet: a charter-school enrollment site benefits from the storytelling we learned on a luxury jewelry launch; a tequila brand's e-commerce flow benefits from the conversion architecture we built for a DTC dog-food company. The categories are how we sort the work. The cross-pollination is how the work gets better.

You can hire cheaper. Most can't bring a senior team that's already shipped in your sector and three adjacent ones.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you work with brands outside of New York?

Yes. The studio is in New York, but the client list is national and international — from universities in the South to consumer brands launching out of California to philanthropic institutions whose footprint spans continents. We travel for stakeholder workshops and major launches; the rest is remote.

Do you specialize in one industry?

No. The depth shows up vertical-by-vertical — we have a real practice in education, in fashion, in food and beverage, in startups — but the firm is intentionally cross-industry. That’s what allows a strategy from one sector to inform the work in another.

Do you take on first-time digital projects, like rebrands or new launches?

Yes. A meaningful share of the studio’s work is exactly this — first websites, first rebrands, first major identity overhauls. We’re set up to handle the strategy, the production, and the change management around it.

Do you work with industries that have compliance or regulatory needs?

Yes — education, government, healthcare, and finance among them. We’ve built and maintained sites for institutions where accessibility, privacy, procurement standards, and accuracy of public information are not optional.

How do we know if Crafted is the right partner for our industry?

The fastest way is a short conversation. If we’re the right fit, we’ll show you the work and the references. If we’re not, we know who is — the studio’s been around long enough to send work to people we trust, and we’d rather do that than take a project we shouldn’t.

How does the approach change by industry?

The deliverables and KPIs shift — an enrollment portal isn’t an inventory-managed dealer site, and a museum visitor experience isn’t a DTC checkout. The underlying practice doesn’t change: clear positioning, brand-led design, technically sound builds, and measurable outcomes.

What industries does Crafted serve?

Education, nonprofit, jewelry and beauty, apparel and fashion, food and beverage, government, pet and animal, startups, small business, consumer goods, ecommerce, affluent and luxury, automotive, real estate, sports and fitness, healthcare, and entertainment and events — among others. The named clients above are a partial list.

What size of company do you typically work with?

From early-stage startups still naming themselves to multinational brands and institutions with budgets in the millions. The common thread is that the engagement is senior — the people you meet in the pitch are the people doing the work.
