Syracuse University
Right on 'Cuse
Syracuse University's online degrees, led by its master's programs, are for people who already have a career and want the next step: a teacher moving into instructional design, a coach who wants to work with data, a manager ready to finish the bachelor's that got put on hold. Paid media was bringing them in. The program pages they landed on were built for browsing, with breadcrumbs, sidebars, related programs and three different buttons. Every exit was a click the ad had already paid for.
The idea was one program, one page, one decision. Crafted designed the display banners and social creative for every program, then designed and built the single purpose landing pages they lead to, with no navigation and no way off the page except the request for information form.
Change is Good
These students aren't deciding whether to go to college. Most made that decision years ago, and some have the degree to show for it. They're deciding whether to go back, while working, and whether it will pay off. So every ad and every page treats the degree as a career move rather than a return to school: come back to lead change.
Degrees from Anywhere
At the Dome or At Home
An online student should never feel they bought a lesser version of the school. Every page leans on the things that make Syracuse unmistakable: the orange, the S, the campus itself. The degree at the end is the same one awarded on the Quad, and the pages say so before they say anything about convenience.
It's All Yours
Each page opens on a student, not a building, and on the ambition rather than the program name. The order underneath never changes: what the degree will do for the career you already have, what you'll learn, how long it takes, how it fits around a job, who else has done it, and the form. One call to action, repeated as the visitor moves down the page, and nothing to click that leads anywhere else.
One Template, Every Program
Programs from five different schools could easily have become five different looks. Instead everything grows from one master template, art directed so each program still feels like its own. Instructional Design is about the move. Sport Analytics is about the master's that's been waiting. Cybersecurity is about the career. Navy and orange alternate so the family reads as one university, and every page is pitched at the professional mid career, not the student on the way to class.
Don't Just Protect the Network. Run It.
The ad makes a promise and the page has to keep it in the first screen. The headline names the ambition, the subhead names the degree, and the form is never more than a scroll away. Underneath, the pages are responsive Wagtail templates built to drop into the university's own CMS, with every form feeding its Slate admissions system and every page tagged for the campaign, so admissions knows which ad and which program each inquiry came from.

Your Leadership Move Is Still Here
The same system carries off the screen. Street banners, outdoor posters and program brochures use the orange and navy panels, the outline type and the laurel, the same as the display banners and social ads, so a prospective student who passes a poster, scrolls past an ad and picks up a brochure at an information session meets one Syracuse every time. And because the same team made all of it and the pages it leads to, the promise in the ad is the first thing the page says.
